I'm a Senior News Analyst working for BBCNews.com out of Bush House in London, the BBC's headquarters. As an Internet journalist, I can work anywhere in the world, as long as I have Internet access. I also write for The Economist.com, and some of my articles end up in the magazine version of the organization. I say a??organizationa?? because The Economist has many components: the Intelligence Unit that functions as a think tank: the website; and the weekly print magazine. Ideologically, it seems to me, The Economist is actually slightly right of center, and Ia??m a progressive media activist (as I choose to call myself), but I write for it because it is also more or less a think tank that canvasses the globe and cleverly distills it into a reasonably compact survey, a more or less comprehensible system of gathering and presenting information.
