Transcribed exactly as I dictated everything to my daughter over the course of five years, this is the story of my life from my birth in 1923 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to immigrant Swiss parents, through the year 2012. A few things happened to me on the way to age 90: I survived the Great Depression, leaped onto bar room tables to lead War protest rallies, piloted a B-17 in World War II, risked life and limb as a crop duster throughout the South, and built homes all over the West: New Mexico, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington, and a whole lot more.
