The purpose of this book is to present a discussion how climate change and global warming will effect Queensland economic regional development. The line of investigation for this book is a result of an ongoing process to develop a research question for an honours thesis. Firstly, does climate change influence our regional economic growth? Secondly, does a change in climate, of the orders indicated by the scientific community, materially affect the Queensland economy? Thirdly, what are some of the Australian Government Initiatives for greenhouse emission abatement? And finally, what are some of the Regional Policy issues for Queensland?
