Public Defender James Bisnow has tried over 40 murder cases, and Graham is his only client facing the charge of first-degree murder who is not in jail. Every lawyer he's spoken to and six judges tell him this man is guilty based on his own statement to LAPD homicide detectives Diaz and Thrasher. But his statement he never signed, his "confession" they never recorded, and the detectives' notes have disappeared -- leaving the shadowy imprint of a paper-clip on one page inside the murder book.
