This is a story of a childhood dream to ride a bicycle from the USA/Canada border to the USA/Mexico border in 2002. The story is told with honesty and humor and is fun to read whether you are a cycling enthusiast or not. A middle-aged man who turns 40, decides to take on the rugged coast of the western United States by riding a bicycle. He cons his parents into driving the same route behind him in a support vehicle. Both he and his parents enjoy the endless beauty of the adventure, but he finds out that the road from Canada to Mexico is harder than he thought and is fraught with unexpected surprises that will both engage and amuse the reader as he/she travels along with him.
