Seven years ago I was diagnosed with stage IV Mantle cell lymphoma. At the time of my diagnosis 99.9% of patients died within five years of diagnosis. Yet by some miracle, I am still alive. My life has been such a diverse mixture of great joy and blessings, combined with severe challenges. The trials I have endured, from childhood through my diagnosis with cancer, were very difficult. However, it was during these times that I felt the most love and growth. If it were not for these trials I would not have had the opportunity to improve and develop. Trials are not enjoyable especially when you are going through them, but if you can be patient and have faith, I have found that incredible blessings will come and you will be strengthened. I have experienced and relate how these trials have improved me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
