Calvin James Abueva (born February 4, 1988 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines) is a current Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association who plays for the Alaska Aces. He was picked 2nd overall by the same team during the 2012 PBA Draft. Amply titled as The Beast because of being an all-around threat at both ends of the court, he dominated the collegiate ranks in the whole country by posting beast-like numbers during his tenure with the San Sebastian College - Recoletos Stags in the NCAA.
