It encompasses the communities of Sheakleyville, Deer Creek Township, Sandy Creek Township, Salem Township, Otter Creek Township, and Perry Township. Commodore Perry School District encompasses approximately 74 square miles (190 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 4,328. In 2009 the district residents' per capita income was $16,448, while the median family income was $40,453.
