The boroughs of Hopewell and Woodbury and the townships of Bloomfield, Hopewell, Woodbury, and South Woodbury are located within district boundaries. It encompasses approximately 112 square miles. According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 6,556. According to District officials, in school year 2007–08 the Northern Bedford County School District provided basic educational services to 1,244 pupils through the employment of 89 teachers, 43 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 11 administrators.
