High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Joaquim Jose Inacio, Viscount of Inhauma (1 August 1808 – 8 March 1869) was a navy officer, politician and monarchist of the Empire of Brazil. Born in the Kingdom of Portugal, he moved as an infant with his family to Brazil in 1810. After Brazilian independence in 1822, Inhauma chose to serve in the armada (navy) of Brazil. His early career during the latter half of the 1820s was spent in subduing secessionist rebellions: the Confederation of the Equator and the Cisplatine War, which evolved into an long international armed conflict with the United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata.
