Croatia has an embassy in Budapest and consulates in Pecs and Nagykanizsa; Hungary has an embassy in Zagreb and consulates in Rijeka and Split. Croatian and Hungarian high-ranking officials (including heads of state, prime ministers and foreign ministers) meet several times a year. Trade between Croatia and Hungary amounted to €625,083 in 2009, largely consisting of Hungarian exports to Croatia. Hungarian investments in Croatia have also risen sharply since 2003.
