The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) is an international association of intentionally Christian institutions of higher education working to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education. Founded in 1976 with 38 members, the Council has grown to 115 members in North America and 69 affiliate institutions in 25 countries. The CCCU is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C..
