Joint Council of Municipalities (Croatian: Zajednicko vijece opcina; Serbian: Заједничко веће општина / Zajednicko vece opstina or Заједничко вијеће општина / Zajednicko vijece opstina; shortly: ЗВО / ZVO) is a sui generis body in Croatia that aligns interests of Serb ethnic community in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja, and Western Syrmia in the Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Syrmia County. It coordinates the law and provides initiatives and proposals to the institutions of government, international organizations, and NGOs. Joint Council of Municipalities is not autonomous region within Croatia, but joint body of municipalities with Serbian population which have limited independent authority that does not necessarily result from decisions of municipalities.
