He is business partners with developer Louis Lesser in Lesser Diesel Enterprises. He directs the T.H. Huxley and Aldous Huxley Family Foundation, works and lectures in the field of neuroethics, and is active in political issues involving Korea, California ecology, and care for the elderly and dependent adults. In 2006, he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Los Angeles for "exemplary achievement in his field and notable contributions to society”. He received the Ambassador for Peace Award from the Republic of (South) Korea in 2007, and the Meritorious Service Medal from Korean Veterans (of South Korea) in 2009.
