A landmark collaboration between Yale University and the National University of Singapore, Yale-NUS will be first liberal arts college in the island-nation and one of the few in Asia that offers four-year undergraduate degrees on a residential campus that integrates learning and living. Yale-NUS will eventually have a student body of 1,000 and a faculty of 100. Each student will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours or a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from Yale-NUS College, which will be awarded by NUS. Students will be able to major in 15 fields of study. It is the first institution outside New Haven, Connecticut, that Yale University has developed in its 300 year history and the first Ivy League school to establish a college bearing its name in Asia.
