The series began airing on Tokyo MX from October 5, 2012. The opening theme song for the Phantom Blood arc is "JoJo ~Sono Chi no Sadame~" (????~??????~?, "JoJo ~That Blood's Destiny~") performed by Hiroaki "Tommy" Tominaga, vocalist of Japanese "brass rock" band Bluff. The opening theme for the Battle Tendency arc is "BLOODY STREAM" by Coda. The main ending theme is British progressive rock band Yes's 1972 single "Roundabout". The series' episodes will be released on nine DVDs and Blu-rays from January 30 to September 27, 2013, with the Blu-ray releases having the option of English subtitles.
