Hassan Abdalla (Arabic: '??? ??? ????'?; born August 1, 1960 in Cairo, Egypt, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Vice Chairman of Cairo based Arab African International Bank (AAIB). He is widely known for orchestrating the substantial turnaround of AAIB during the early 2000s into one of Egypt and the region’s most renowned private banks, transforming it from a bank to fully integrated financial group. Since assuming his latest position at AAIB, Abdalla was able to restructure the bank and gear it to be the fastest growing financial institution in Egypt, realizing growth in ROE from 7% in 2002 to an average of 30% in the last 4 years ending 2010.
