It was released internationally in 2000 by Sony Music Entertainment and in the United States and Canada on March 27, 2001 by Epic Records. The album was primarily produced by Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello, and Ric Wake, with additional production and writing from Evan Rogers, Carl Sturken, and Ray Ruffin. The album was a commercial flop in the USA reaching only number one hundred and sixty-eight on the US Billboard 200. However it was met with extreme chart success overseas where it entered the top five and the top ten on the majority of the charts in Europe and Oceania. One More Chance is the first song written and sang by Anastacia in 1993. The song Not That Kind was originally written by Anastacia and performed on The Cut in 1998.
