Set in the fictional town of San Pedro in Chiapas, the program centers on two young adults, Lucrecia Cordoba Pedraza (Maite Perroni) and Julian Huerta Almada (Eugenio Siller), whose love is opposed by their families as the result of a tragic childhood accident that claimed the life of Lucrecia's brother, Cesar.
