Presently CEO of Bottlenose, a new startup that provides social search, listening and analytics tools for marketers. He is also a co-founder and investor in several other ventures, including Live Matrix, which was sold to OVGuide in 2012, The Daily Dot which provides an online newspaper about Web culture, and StreamGlider which is making a new mobile media dashboard. He is also the first outside investor in Klout, which measures social influence. Spivack is an active angel investor and advisor to startups including Cambrian Genomics, Sensentia, Publish This, Chronos Trading and Energy Magnification Corporation. He is on the board of directors of the Common Crawl Foundation which provides Common Crawl, a free and open 5 billion page search index of the Web.
