This is a complete list of teams that have competed in the first-grade competition in Australia that began with the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRL) competition in 1908. The NSWRL competition ran until the end of the 1994 season where the Australian Rugby League (ARL) took over and ran the competition until 1997.
