The event is presented by different people depending on the region it airs. In Japan, Nintendo Direct is presented by Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata. In North America and Europe however, it is presented by the president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, and the president of Nintendo of Europe, Satoru Shibata, respectively.
