Bellevue School District No. 405 (short: BSD) is a public school district in King County, Washington, USA that serves the communities of Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Medina, Hunts Point, Yarrow Point, Beaux Arts Village, and portions of Newcastle, Kirkland and Redmond. As of October 1, 2010, the district has an enrollment of 17,783 students. There is a gifted program for students who have passed several qualifying tests. Students in the PRISM program go to Stevenson Elementary School and afterwards Odle Middle School. Recently a high school level extension of the program was initiated at Interlake High School. The International School, Bellevue High School, and Newport High School were ranked the 14th, 24th, and 78th best high schools in the nation respectively by US News in 2009.
