It is a comprehensive grades 9-12 high school, which includes a ninth grade center and an auditorium. It is situated beside the Camden Recreational Center which provides the school with many extracurricular services and activities along with Chris Gilman Stadium which is the home to the school's football team. Camden County High School is currently part of the Georgia 5A class of athletics, but will be moving to the 6A class for the 2011–2012 school year. It hosts over 45 official extracurricular activities and athletic programs, including the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and the Senior Beta Club. Camden county schools are one of only six Georgia public school districts to offer college prep curriculum as well as Technical vocational education.
