The designer of dazzling works of stained glass art, Louis Comfort Tiffany devoted his life to creating windows and other products that glowed with brilliant hues. The ready-to-color illustrations in this unique and innovative book - the first of its kind to be published anywhere - simulate four of the - master craftsman's finest stained glass windows. Colorists simply remove pages from the book and add their own hues with paints, felt-tip pens, crayons, or other media. The results are brilliant, with windows ranging in size from 10,5" x 16,5" to spectacular 24" x 16,5" creations, that are large enough to cover small windows. (Tape will be necessary to combine sections of the two larger pictures.) When complete, the finished products display lovely renditions of Wisteria, Fawn Drinking at Stream, Peacock, and Parrot/Hibiscus. For the final touch, place the artwork against a window or near another source of bright light to produce vibrant stained glass effects.
