Alice is a young girl who gets separated from her family while trying to flee the war inWanda. She ends up lost and alone. Due to her unsanitary living conditions, Alice becomes ill. She is saved by kind gorillas from Runga forest. The gorillas who happen to be the king and queen of the forest adopt young Alice as their daughter making her the Runga princess.
