The Idyl Hours Cookbook contains the recipes and history of an area in Northwest Houston commonly refered to as Cypress. Idyl Hours was the oldest Tea Room in Cypress until its doors closed for the final time in September 2009. Many requests for the out-of-print cookbook spurred its reincarnation. It is now available on amazon.com. Look inside to find the recipes which have not allowed this cookbook to fade away.
