In this humorous cartoon book, readers are introduced to the character of Mr Figgleton. He is an accountant who works in the Department of Finance, in Wellington New Zealand. One windy day while he is walking to work, Mr Figgleton is blown high in the air by galeforce winds. With the help of his umbrella, he is whisked around Wellington. Mr Figgleton notes down everything he sees on his birds eye tour of the capital. The book is aimed at younger readers from 9 to 12 years of age. It uses rhyming verse along with descriptive cartoons. Not unlike Mary Poppins in his unplanned umbrella flight, Mr Figgleton visits a variety of locations around the city of Wellington.
