Harry is bored during the summer in Privet Drive. He gets little news of his friends Ron and Hermione, and ends up feeling abandoned. One night, while he is in the street with his cousin Dudley, Harry is attacked by two Dementors. To defend his life and that of his cousin, the young wizard has to resort to magic. Return to Uncle Vernon and Aunt Penunia with a haggard Dudley will cause a terrible scene interspersed with multiple arrivals who bring owls to Harry very important messages.
