The son of a Georgia forest, Vladimir Mayakovsky had the look of a lumberjack, and it is with such energy that he will tackle the poetry of his time. Born in 1894, he published his first texts in 1912. It then adheres to futurism that seems only able to replace the symbolism and acmeism which bore the aristocratic refinement, and perhaps even the nauseate.
