Philippe Sollers was born in Bordeaux. He founded in 1960 the review and collection "As Is" and in 1983 the review and collection "The Infinite". He has published the following novels and essays: Paradis, Women, Player Portrait, The Festival in Venice, The Secret, The Taste of War, The Cavalier du Louvre, Casanova's admirable, Studio, fixed Passion Praise of the infinite, mysterious Mozart, L'Etoile lovers, Dictionary lovers of Venice, a divine life.
