"Happy Rhymes" is a three-level series aiming to introduce young learners to the rich and fascinating world of traditional nursery rhymes. It focuses mainly on listening and speaking while developing children's pre-reading and рге-writing skills. In the Teacher's Book, however, the teacher can find additional activities that develop reading and writing skills. What makes "Happy Rhymes" a unique series is that each nursery rhyme is preceded by a story that sets the scene and presents the core language of the rhyme. As a result, children will be able not only to sing the traditional nursery rhymes, but also to relate the humorous stories contained within each one. In addition, children work on stimulating cross-curricular activities that help build their confidence and instill a positive attitude towards learning.
