Real Life is a five level course for upper secondary students, many of whom who are preparing for a school-leaving exam. It recognises that most classes have students of a wide range of language ability and offers different ways of dealing with this in the classroom. It also notes that teachers are working in a range of situations, with different facilities and time constraints. Therefore, Real Life offers core material of 90 lessons with a flexible range of extra elements and components to supplement where necessary.
