While it served a large clientele that shopped "in person," it also boasted a "fully equipped mail-order department" that offered - in a splendidly illustrated catalog-fashionable clothing for men, women and children as well as the latest in home furnishings and personal accessories. This edition of the company's 1891 catalog, meticulously reproduced from a rare original copy, contains authentic illustrations of more than 1,000 late-Victorian articles of wearing apparel and domestic goods.
