The paper engineer behind such artistic pop-up books as The Night Before Christmas and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz offers this book of 26 alphabetical Christmas pop-ups, each presented behind a simple colored flap with an initial letter. "N" reveals a nutcracker opening his eyes and working his mouth, "S" is a 3-D snowflake, and two snowmen wave hello under "F", for friends. Each flap (which looks much like a Christmas card) has a multicolored interior with a white pop-up figure. Though ideal for beginning readers, this delightful book can be shared with the family and kept with the Christmas decorations.
