Robin Walker is a first-time author with Oxford University Press. Born and educated in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, he completed a degree in Chemistry before training to teach secondary school science. Since moving to Spain in 1981, he has been involved in English language teaching and teacher education, working in close collaboration with the State Teachers Centres, the University of Oviedo, and OUP Espana. A lecturer at the University School of Tourism of Asturias for 22 years, he recently set up as a freelance teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer.
