It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 10 (or virtual channel 9.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter at the Bogus Basin ski area summit in unincorporated Boise County. The station can also be seen on Cable One channel 9 and in high definition on digital channel 485. Owned by Journal Communications, KNIN is sister to ABC affiliate KIVI-TV and the two outlets share studios (with several co-owned radio stations) on East Chisholm Drive in Nampa along I-84/US 30/SH-55.
