Galician-Portuguese (Portuguese: galego-portugues or galaico-portugues, Galician: galego-portugues or galaico-portugues) or Old Portuguese was a West Iberian Romance language spoken in the Middle Ages, in the northwest area of the Iberian Peninsula.
