This fifty-five acre abandoned barren granite quarry was developed by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Guntur division during 2008-09 and inaugurated on 25th. February,2009. It has a beautiful lake surrounded by neat path ways and garden, a small wooden bridge to cross the channel where you can see variety of birds,ducks and fish. A beautiful piece of architecture, "The Rock Villa” the official residence of DRM Guntur is located here on a hill-top, besides sprawling officers’ bungalows.
