High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yerradoddipalli is a small village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh state in India. Yerradoddi palli is a village that borders Mahal town. Agriculture is primary occupation for most people. There is a Sri Rama temple in the heart of the village. The temple was constructed by Late Smt.Akkayamma. The temple though is not very old, but has good tradition. People from the village perform 'chakka Bhajana' at the temple during harvest season to show their respect to God. Chakka Bhajana is a beautiful and rhythmic dance where people do a coordinated dance with sticks and sing along. This dance is a treat to watch and hear the authentic folk songs. It is, however, sad that the art is losing its sheen as more people migrate towards towns.
