High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rafael Jaques (not Jacques) (born September 11, 1975 in Porto Alegre), is a Brazilian footballer. He played for the Seville based side Real Betis. He was formed in Gremio Porto Alegre, and he played with Aracatuba, Goias Esporte Clube and Goiatuba in Brazil. He moved to China to play in the Second Division with Wuhan Guanggu, where when was the topscorer getting the transfer to Real Betis for the season 98-99. He is tall forward but he could not show his skills in the Spanish Liga (1 goal in 4 matches), being loan to Rayo Vallecano (Second Division) in the middle of the season, and then sold to Sao Paulo. Later he has played for Sport Recife, Guarani Futebol Clube, Uniao Leiria (Portugal), C.S. Maritimo (Portugal), Esporte Clube XV de Novembro, Vila Nova Futebol Clube, Esporte Clube Santo Andre, Wuhan Guanggu (China) and Sport Club Ulbra. Now he is playing in Cyprus for APOP Kinyras Peyias.
