Robert Michael Sawicki (born February 17, 1978) is a retired American professional basketball player who most notably played a short stint with the Boston Celtics in 2002 and several seasons in Europe. Sawicki grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, and played high school basketball at Wayne Hills High School. A 6'10" power forward from the University of South Alabama and the University of Hartford, Sawicki was a strong-athletic inside player who had tremendous ability to play on the perimeter. He had mid-range skills, was able put the ball on the floor and was a good passer in the post. He was an active rebounder and consistently ranked among the top rebounders in the nation. He averaged a double-double throughout his high school and collegiate career. In his NBA career, Sawicki played in 8 games and scored a total of 12 points.
