Teachers Credit Union Limited is the largest credit union in the state of New South Wales, Australia, with more than 149,000 Members, assets of $2 billion and the highest member retention of any Australian credit union. Membership is primarily restricted to future, serving and retired teachers and administrative staff in the state school systems of New South Wales, Northern Territory, and the Australian Capital Territory and their immediate family members. A change at the October 2007 annual general meeting has now included Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania in the credit union's bond.
