As of October 2011, he is YouTube's seventh most subscribed comedian and eleventh most subscribed user overall. He is currently on a indefinite leave from the University of California, Davis; however, prior his departure, he was a film major. The San Francisco Chronicle's Jeff Yang has noted that Wu is not a comedian in the conventional sense but that by "just talking is, well, pretty hilarious" due to his deadpan vocal delivery, animated facial expressions and tendency toward unexpected digressions.
