The exhibition looks overthelife of Mohandas Karamchad Gandhi, better know as Mahatma Gandhi, his birth in Pordanbar (1869), his travels through England, the fundamental role that he played in the fight for the freedomoftheIndiansin SouthAfrica, his many roles in the road to gaining India'sIndependencein 1947 and concluding with his tragic assassination in New Delhi. The text included in the book are unpublished and have beenexclusivelywrittenby each authorfor the exhibition, of which are some of today's most important experts on Gandhi, from India and Europe. The majority of the photographsexhibitedare unpublished and digitally restored from the archives most important collections dedicated to Gandhi. Until now this material has never been exhibited.
