Designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and Doriana Mandrelli, the Emporio Armani shop in Hong Kong is a project that emerged from the belief that global culture is an experimental territory of many identities. An encounter of diverse ways of sensing the world, the store combines the dual concerns of architecture and fashion, which originate from the same universal culture. The project refuses to employ any form of traditional architectural formalism. Instead, its true inspiration is not in decoration, but in the real fluctuations contained within the shop.
