The artist Jo Spence (London, 1934-1992) began her career during the critical re-thinking of the formalist paradigm of modern photography in the mid 70s, crystalized in alternative practices loosely grouped under critical postmodernism. This is a wide-ranging selection of Spence's texts in addition to the most significant photographic works of her career.
