The authors analyse the influence that certain events have on the physical and symbolic transformation of a territory. In this book they study the way in which "the elements of territories circulate" - a path, a road, a hamlet- in Today's Lebanon (focusing on the regions situated in the far south of the country). In their opinion, that "expressivity of the territory, these viewpoints are not immediately perceived in the institutional world of art" . For this reason, she believes it is necessary to find other forms of artistic intervention which enable us to "feel the expressive power of the territory".
