It is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sin was originally announced one of four teams that were to be introduced to the league in 2008. The other teams were to be Atlanta Steam, Miami Caliente and San Francisco Seduction. When the league took the field in 2009, the Sin were not included in the league's ten inaugural franchises. The 2010 LFL season's annual Lingerie Bowl was held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, with the announced intention of establishing the Sin for 2011.
