Jack McDonald is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club. A left-footed forward from Camden, he played for the Saints from 1949 - 1956. He was St Kilda's leading goal-kicker in 1949, 1952 & 1955. Australian rules football, officially known as Australian football, also called football, footy or Aussie rules (and in some regions called-erroneously-AFL, after the Australian Football League, the only fully professional Australian rules football league) is a sport played between two teams of 22 players (18 on the field, and four interchanges) on either an Australian rules football ground, a modified cricket field or another modified sports venue.
